Cave Rock at sunset

It was a bleak cold day today. No matter how many clothes I put on, I could not warm up until I went for a walk and generated some heat from the inside!

Most of my pics were pretty dull and grey. If only I could photograph the song of the bellbird, that lifted my spirits. I've heard them plenty of times but only seen one a few times - they are small, well camouflaged and tend to stay high up in big trees. Getting a pic of one remains a challenge for the future!

I liked the lighting which made nice black outlines, and reflections on the wet sand. It didn't get any more colourful than this today.
