Top versus bottom...
For the last few years a small group of supporters in the Norrie McCarthy stand at East End Park have chosen to stand and like a lot of standing support they sing songs and jump around a bit. The club has come in for some schtick about this standing support and they've asked these supporters countless times to sit down for fear of receiving a fine. Recently there have been talks about reintroducing the 'stands' at football grounds and I could see perhaps a small section of each stand could benefit from that option but only if there was a reduced entry fee for those deciding to stand over sitting.
One of the things that stuck in Dunfermline supporters throats at this match though was that apart from the North Stand being full of away support (doesn't seem right somehow) the majority of the Celtic supporters chose to stand. 200 people stand in the Dunfermline end and it's a problem and 4,000 stand in the Celtic support and it's not mentioned.
Personally I like sitting down, I'm in no rush to going back to standing throughout a game.
