Braving the gales

This is on the busy A76, taken on the move with a phone camera so forgive the poor quality. Incidently I was not driving!

A 40-50ft tree had partly fallen across the road on our journey and the Police guided us around it. Within minutes on our return the tree had already been felled and cleared away by the very efficient local council! Had we been a few minutes either side of our trip, the tree might have come down on our car!
