I have spent the morning in bed watching The Lion King on blu-ray. I have to admit, I was somewhat anxious about whether it would still be as amazing as I remembered it being but I need not have worried. It simply is outstanding and the quality of colour and detail in the blu-ray makes it even more so.

When I took Danté out earlier I found the subject of today's Blip. Having just finished watching a film all about the circle of life I decided that I probably wouldn't find anything more fitting than this to photograph today. So, here it is.
