not the best of days - caught up in my own dramas - packing frantically to go to hanoi at a few hours notice for a surgery I need on my wrist - feeling scared and pathetic going into a vietnamese hospital with no idea of what will happen - and then a friend from home calls with bad news - another friend is going through far far worse....
puts it all in perspective really - my little dramas are nothing
meanwhile Max snoozes on the porch of my little bungalow and makes me smile despite the tears for my friend
