Holyrood Palace

It was dangerously windy this morning (large rubbish bins were blowing about the street) so didn't venture out until after lunch.

This is Holyrood Palace and the ruins of the Abbey, the backdrop is Arthur's seat an extinct volcano.. It is taken from Regent Road. As the Royal Standard of Scotland is flying it is safe to assume the queen is not in residence.
