I spent part of the afternoon today in this place, the Maggie's Centre at the WGH in Edinburgh. It was a fraught day for my family, and this wonderful haven just 3 minutes walk from the hospital ward really helped.

The history and background to Maggie's Centres is really interesting, and they've done some amazing work. If I could work out how to attach a link here I would, but I'm feeling a bit technically-challenged.....
