Goldfinches..

... blimey, this Blipping Every Day thing does not get any easier.
This grainy offering is evidence, at least, that we have some birds in the garden, even if it isn't going to make me Wildlife Photographer of the year.

In fact, we are doing really well bird-wise; today we saw chaffinches for the first time in ages, plus bullfinches, great tits, coal tits, blue tits, a robin, a dunnock and a blackbird.
Oh, and a great gang of long-tailed tits.. too many to count.

The girls go back to school tomorrow. Guy has one more day of freedom.
