Can You Feel The Force?

Woke up at 4:45am to Rusty and Floyd both meowing and looking for an early breakfast. However, when I opened the front door and the gale hit us square in the face, the pair of them decided a long lie rather than exercise was in order and legged it up the stairs!

Apparently gales today worse than those from few weeks ago and it felt like it. We did very little, roads and bridges closed, so that ruled out trips to Edinburgh or Glasgow. Sounded a bit of a mare, so a lazy day pottering about the house before going to visit wife's gran who is 92 today. Happy birthday!

Posting this as I was quite impressed by the strength of the gales. This storage unit weighs a ton and is full of bikes and other outdoor stuff. Yet its been blown about 8 foot and only stopped because it hit the side of the house. Lucky we had a fence in the way or the car might have copped it. As you can see the blue bin has fell over and it had all the old Christmas cards in it for recycling. So if a card arrives in your back garden - a belated Merry Christmas!
