Christmas passed

When I was a kid I absolutely hated it when the Christmas decorations came down because it meant that Christmas was really over. Nowadays, as soon as New Year has passed I just want to get it over with.

Some people say that it's bad luck to take decorations down before twelfth night (6th January) but in fact tradition has it that it is bad luck to leave them up after twelfth night, so I shouldn't fall foul of this!
