Festive Season Ends

Its fitting that for the last day of the festive break (yesterday) the day was a beautifully calm and clear winters day here in Herts and that the first day back to work was blowing a ferocious gale with driving rain, mother nature's empathy perhaps?

So with Christmas and New Years behind us for another 12 months I thought I'd better take some colourful macro shots of the Christmas tree before its taken to the recycle centre at the weekend.

I hope everyone survived the first day back at work after the break ok.
