Last day!

Procrastination was the word of the day! I had a class set of writing to mark and level. Poor Jaden had loads of homework: type up a story he had written, print and illustrate with drawings; maths worksheet; and reading. We both did a good job of avoidance. I washed bedding, tidied, helped Jaden make a TARDIS lego model, sorted, moved things and cooked lots!

Eventually we had a word with ourselves and got down to it. We nearly got there. I have 5 more to mark and will carry on until it is done. I know I'm wasting time doing my blip but this is a sanity break and part of my New Year's resolutions!

Our friend Andy popped round this later afternoon for a coffee and natter (so that was a good distraction) but I carried on working, honestly! While I was taking a photo of Jaden doing his homework for this blip, Andy came in very useful making him laugh. I chose the laughing one instead of the working one because that made me happier! After Jaden, I managed to make/force/persuade ask Andy to let me take his photo. He's in my blipfolio. You will recognise him from my August blips at his wedding in the Czech Republic.
