Demolition Day Party! - HO LAY SH!T

This was the aftermath of one of the four Alexander Street Multis demolished in Dundee today.

It was quite spectacular and we had an amazing view from my friend's flat... which you can see in our video! Excuse the tiny bits of choice language!

The whole thing was over in seconds and once the dust had settled we ventured out for a walk round the Hilltown.

There were amazing scenes of dust covered streets; shop proprietors out dusting down their premises; air still thick with ash; not to mention the four huge piles of rubble, with wallpaper, fixtures and fittings almost eerily peeking out from the wreckage, nodding to the long departed residents.

It was quite an experience and at least one we had through a thoroughly well organised event and not a disaster, natural or otherwise.

So if you ever get the chance, get yourself to a demolition!
