Perfect new years day

So we went to Exeter races on new years day which was one of my Christmas presents. Now, I'm not an expert, but I can usually pick a winner. But not today. No, every race my horse came second or last. Despite this, and having a cold, and getting soaked through, I had a perfect new years day.
