RODEO

I LOVE this photo - the look on the horse's face is pure joy for the sport of unseating his rider, his ears are pricked, he's having fun.

We spent the day at the Mandeville Rodeo and had a lovely day - no animals were hurt during the day, in fact they are exceedingly well looked after. Can't say the same for the cowboys though, there were a few limps, bumps, scraps and bruises.

The weather was perfect for being outside for the day, not a hot norwester as it often is this time of year, but an overcast day with the sun coming and going.

The new camera got a MASSIVE workout, and I love what it can produce, great focus and speed of focus - much better than work's sony.
