New years day at the farm

Dad had to meet someone at the farm so we headed up last minute on new years day.

Great day with perfect weather and a chance to take some great pictures. We talked a lot about how dad came to the US almost 50 years ago to the day.

Didn't have a tripod so I took two paper Starbucks cups, stood them up end to end and set up camera + for the iPhone to do a timer shot. After a couple of tries we got this one.

Posted this on dads Facebook and my tumbler as well.
