'Trouble With Lichen'

Taking the photo of the lichen reminded me of the novel 'Touble with Lichen', by John Wyndham. I remember reading loads of his sci-fi when I was at school and still remember them very fondly now.

I've just had a look on Professor G*****, however, I don't seem to remember the story at all. Perhaps I have just found myself another book for my reading list.

It was so windy outside, and freezing cold, so I just had a brisk walk around the block. The wind didn't lend itself to close ups but I really liked the colours of this lichen and hence the blip.
