The Party's Over
The weather must have stopped the big wheel from being dismantled. How these carriages stayed up there given how fragile they have always appeared to me, is a miracle.
My man had some gadgets he wanted to check out. Christmas money burning a whole in his pocket. I joined him in town and was highly amused by the amount of people who were obviously hanging about until their train, bus, or plane would take them back to their homs.
People with kilts of every shape a colour but possibly not of any real tartan, worn with big football socks, or trainers in random neon colours. Back packs strewn all over cafe floors and Edinburgh Woolen Mill bags sitting on top.
I do hope they enjoyed our Hogmany celebrations and will come back as we'll aye be glad tae see ye!
