Undiscovered talent!

Susan and her friend Matthew helped me to remove the fence that was hanging at 127degrees into the road today. I attached trellis panels to an existing post and rail fence when I moved here 10 years ago. The trellis succeeded in pulling down the whole thing!! We tried to save the original fence - with a degree of success.

It all looks much tidier and presentable - all ready for tonight's high winds!! I must say they were both very helpful and could have managed the whole thing without me!! I made the bacon butties afterwards!

I took all my recycling to the centre to find the bottle banks all full - but got all the paper, plastic and cans away. It is the best recycle centre - men to help carry your stuff, huge containers and bins for every kind of junk and "the green machine" - for all other things that just need squashing!

I'm off to the workhouse tomorrow and Susan returns to Aberdeen. I will miss her enormously. Her exams are in 3 weeks - so nose to page for a while!
