New Year 2011-12 #4

New Year's eve was a unique day.

It began with an early start to try the only walk in Scotland where you can feasibly cover 5 Corbetts in one day. We managed it, but it tipped down with rain for almost the entire day - ever since I was so bold as to try to get out the camera to take a photo after the first summit!

It continued with a fantastic murder mystery, written by Lottie and Catherine. Michael came into possession of the newly re-written will of Lord Alasdair who had met his demise upstairs in the bath, as he marshalled the evidence in his role as Detective Inspector Marcus Deveridge.

It concluded with the consumption of more whiskey and port than is advisable.
