Idyllic cottages

Walking round the village is always a delight as we have some really lovely cottages and features. These two cottages are the prettiest and I walk past them on my way down to the church and the stream where I usually feed the many ducks we have there.

Last night was really windy and I was surprised that we did not have more branches down than we did. Our very old walnut tree survived with only a few twigs blowing round the driveway this morning.
