Boele
After a bit of a splurge in a furniture store (Loods 5 for those who know) we went for the scenic route on our way back. J. showed me the house where he grew up in Ridderkerk, a town that borders to Rotterdam.
This is the industrial area along the river Maas where his father used to work. According to the stories of both father and son, those were some happy times. The building on the right actually belongs to the competition, but well - the company he used to work doesn't exist anymore and I really liked the lights and the clouds in this one.
On the right is the Van Brienenoordbrug, on the horizon you can see New Orleans and Montevide0 (the highest residential tower in the Netherlands and its runner-up - not the cities of course!)
