Mark Saving Lives - Potentially.

For all those who have blood tests done at their GP and wondered what happens to them. They are sent to hospital labs for analysis and in our lab this is done the same day. Most of these will be normal but occasionally there will be one from someone who is seriously ill or needs to change their medication urgently. If this is the case the patient's GP will gave been contacted already. I hope Mark made it over the Forth Road Bridge safely as it was wild when I was going home.
