Last day of freedom

Well, with all my new year guests gone, it was actually quite nice to have a day to myself. I didn't do a great deal other than fail to find anything I wanted to buy (and could afford) in town, and do some baking. I made my famous, magic, and some have even claimed "orgasmic" banana loaf, and also some cookies using the lemon and cardamom white chocolate stuff I got for Christmas. It's meant to be hot chocolate, but as it's fairly big granules rather than powder I figured I'd try baking with it. It's tasty, but the cookies need a bit more texture, so I may have to add some actual chocolate chunks to the next batch....

Back to work tomorrow. It's amazing how quickly 13 days can pass.
