Belotte!

Last night before mom returns to France and we're playing a last round of 'belotte.'

I've no idea what this game of cards is called in English, nor have I ever met anyone who plays it here. If anyone does know the name, let me know! It is, however, a fav game in my region of France and people get quite serious about it (not so much us). It involves master suites and two teams of two trying to win hands. Those with the highest number of points win.

The game is an endless source of giggles for us, as you're supposed to keep track of what's been played, what's out, and what your partner may have, but I think all of us are ADD... :))
