Grown Up Toy

We never do outgrow toys. I can't wait to play with this new one.

A photography friend at work tracked this tripod down for me on Craig's list today. I had been feeling overwhelmed by the array of choices and range of expense for tripods and tripod heads and asked her opinion. An hour later she sent me a link.

The young woman selling this said that she has started graduate school, is no longer taking pictures and needed a little extra cash. It is perfect.

All the way home in the car I thought about all the amazing blips I was going to take tonight.

Poured myself a little cocktail, played around with the release plate to figure out how it works, blipped the tripod. All done for the night.

I'm thinking birds at the feeder this Saturday.
