Great minds think alike

Sargent painted his 'Carnation, Lily, Lily, Rose' in 1985-86,
Ricardo Lopez Cabrera painted his 'Recien casados' in 1905.
But I think they have lots of things in common.
Perhaps it is only because the Chinese lanterns and the farolillos are made with the same material ;-)
