Water water everywhere and not a drop to drink

Can you believe we failed in our mission driving around West Yorkshire looking for a pub that was open for a pint? Shocking, what are they thinking? That we all had enough over New Year and now is the time to shut up shop?! We ended up at Grandma Pollards Fish & Chips* in Todmorden for a cup of tea and an indecdently sized vanilla slice where incidentally you can sit on an old bus to eat your chips if you wish, bit cold today.
