A day with Alfie

Today I have had a lovely time with Alfie the bearded collie.

We had a bit of 'rough & tumble' play on the kitchen floor and we've also had two very nice walks.

I found my first trough of 2012. In fact I've been in three troughs today. I also found a lovely clean pond to swim and wallow in.

I tried to encourage Alfie to go into the water but he didn't want to. He barked at me as if to say, 'What a silly collie you are!'

Alfie wanted to play chase with me but I couldn't really be bothered with that when there was so much wallowing to be done.

But guess who was the dirtiest when we got home and had to have a bath? Alfie.

I am very tired now. Two walks with a one year old bearded collie has worn me out!
