Silly season

We had a visitor last week who required a quick check with a nit comb. Since then my head has been itchy. I've subsequently found out that it was either a psycho somatic or hypochondria type thing, but I was taking no chances and decided to shave my head for the first time in years.

While I was doing it Roz suggested I leave a bit to wind up Maddy when she comes home. I don't think she quite had this in mind, but when she saw it she insisted I leave it just so we could see MAddy's reaction.

The downside is that I have to go around like this until Sunday. Thank goodness I still have a collection of baseball caps.

Oh well, it's by no means the silliest haircut I've ever had.
