The winds dropped and the clouds decreased enough today to give some dramatic light over the Lake District. Enough to feed the beast for a little while anyhow, which had been growing restless with all the recent weather! In fact, most of last year's weather come to think of it. If only it would grow colder though! My ice axes have not been out enough!
