Warm Glow

Tonight I got home from work just as it was getting dark, the moon was low over my back garden. Just in the right position for me to try out a telescope that my Dad gave me for Christmas.

It took a little bit of time to get it pointing spot on but then WOW the surface of the moon as I had never seen it before. I could clearly see the undulations and craters that pepper it. Fantastic to see, if you ever get a chance.

When I get it set up better I will try my hand a more distant objects, one day!
