You know that feeling; you've just started the journey to work and something's not quite right.

That's it - not enough light.

Maybe it's just that transition between darkness and daylight; it can often confuse the eyes. But... no, let's go out and check.

Aarggh!

I think there may in fact be a fault with the whole headlamp unit; I replaced that bulb just about 5,000 miles ago and could never get it to it properly. It was as if the metal rim that is meant to hold the bulb is somehow creased.

Let's hope that'll be a warranty repair, then! It's booked in for Monday at the garage, we'll see what they come up with,
