The Wonder Of Evil

This spider hangs out in my garden each and every year. It selects one single plant and then stays put there throughout the summer season. It is rather aggressive and jumps forward if you inadvertently touch the blossom it is hiding in. I came across this one this morning at about 5 am on this raggedy old poppy that was just about on it's final bloom. the breeze was steady but i had my self all set up with a remote release, macro on my tripod and clicked until i got a shot that was reasonably crisp. I will never look at this guy quite the same again. he has redeemed himself by posing for this melodramatic shot
