High water on the Loddon January 5th

One of my favourite places, down by the River Loddon, near our house, a little known quiet corner, perfect for walking the dog and watching the seasons. Following yesterday's torrential rain, the river was really high, and spilling its banks in places. I love comparing the different moods of the river, at different times of day, the year and in different weather. My daily (ish) dog walk is time out to clear my head and think.
