Wind, Water, Sun

I spent the day preparing for the start of winter term which begins on Monday. This morning I walked over to Powell's Books, a favourite destination, and purchased the required textbooks for my courses (seven books). I make every attempt, where possible, to purchase textbooks from local bookstores in Portland.

On my way back home, I walked along the waterfront with the intent of capturing a photo of the marina thinking it would make an interesting blip. Upon returning home and uploading my photos, I was unhappy with the pictures I took except this one. I'm not totally satisified with it, but it will have to do for now. What I like about it: the reflecting sun, seagull flying through the shot, and the bridges in the background.
