little birdie

Actually, I am feeling a bit better today! Enough to run into the office for a couple hours. On the way back home I remembered that there was a high surf advisory so I grabbed my husband and went to the beach(it's only about a 10min drive). The waves weren't too impressive at the jetty but the sky was looking to be quite a show! So, ran up to Shore Acres where there is always a dramatic scene with the ocean and rocks. It was wonderful but we got there about 4:48 pm and the gates are closed at 5:00 pm so not a lot to time for photo framing. Grabbed a few shots before my husband starting yelling "5 OCLOCK!!"
Ha! So, drove back down the hill and what do we see???? An amazing RED SKY!!!! I had to post a bird for my theme but wanted to show you the beautiful sunset we were blessed with.
