BLIPPER DETAINED FOR BREACH OF SECURITY
So, I was just going into work yesterday morning, Your Honour. . I stopped to take a shot of everyone entering the building by walking across the road markings which say 'No Entry' .
' Gently ironic,' I chuckled to myself on my way in.
Then I was stopped by Security, in his very official uniform. He checked my badge and took my details because I had photographed the front of the building.
'No photographs allowed' I was told sternly.
'But this is a public building' I protested. 'It is funded by taxpayers money - it is a local education authority...there is nothing secret here... I work here .... even I don't find it very interesting....'
'No photography allowed' he repeated grimly 'I will have to report you'.
Who to? The Blip Police? What for? A rubbish blip?
I wasnt even going to use the shot because it's not very good. It became strangely irresistible after the security intervention.
The story kept me amused all day.
I'm thinking of photographing the car park on Monday, that ll send them into a complete tailspin......
