A new beginning.

After a (very) long absence, I am returning to Blipfoto. Hopefully this time life won't get in the way so much.

I went for a walk up to Highfield Reserve in Snells Beach the other evening and the pohutakawa were full of tui. They were singing there hearts out too. After patience and a lot of neck craning I managed to get a few decent (i.e. not too out of focus) photos. This was the best.

I have cropped in a little and enhanced the colour as it was a little washed out in the original.

NB I have to adjust the date settings on my camera - my father, waipushrink, has pointed out it's still on UK time! Nonetheless the dates - though note the time - is right for this pic.
