What a day!

Zazu gave us a bit of a scare today. We noticed yesterday that something is not right with him. He kept on vomiting saliva. Had a hard time swallowing. He just didn't look good. He's a 14-year-old cat that has always been healthy. So seeing him in agony was worrisome.

In addition, we had a storm "Andrea" in full progress outside. Rain, lightning, heavy winds. And in such weather condition, we took Zazu to the Vet.

Two hours later, a shot of antibiotics and a much lighter wallet, we were home. Turns out, it's tonsillitis. An inflammation of the tonsils. No wonder, he didn't look good. His sister, Pumbaa, hissed at him. She didn't like the way he smelled. Poor thing. Hopefully, tomorrow he'll feel better.
