It was the first of the Friday morning walks for 2012.

This group of jolly walkers chose the shorter walk today and David led us through the woods on a newly laid path. It is reassuring in these times of austerity to know that the council understands the importance of providing suitable places for people to get outdoor exercise.

We came across these new wood sculptures and were impressed that each one was beautifully carved from one piece of wood. Can you spot the mouse? The recent storms have provided lots more wood for the talented craftsperson.
