Another Desperation Blip
Early morning gritter at a service station - probably just the gang getting papers and sandwiches. I saw another two at the newspaper shop (which also does hot fast food, probably because the way things are going there won't be any newspapers in the not too distant future). Mrs. P's dad still in Raigmore and had a scan yesterday but not sure what the purpose was. The nurses sound very nice and helpful but the worse thing about hospitals is finding someone who knows what is going on and is willing to explain. I understand doctors/consultants would have a hard time doing their job if relatives were grabbing them every few minutes for a "quick" update. On the other side of the fence Mrs P often grumbles about a couple of parents who keep trying to see her at the beginning of the school day, when there's often a lot of things to do, in spite of being told not to. And another parent who hangs around outside the class window where she can listen without being seen. Anyway Mrs P will be back in harness on Monday so her mum, who can't really be left alone, is having to leave us for another relative.
