Maurice Walton RIP

Death announced of the eighty year old Rev Maurice Walton who was the Architect responsible for the extension of the Northampton Guildhall, completed 1991.

He will always be remembered as he is one of the "gargoyles" carved for the new building (Hence this blip) which he designed to compliment the "gothic" style Town Hall built in the Victorian era

He entered the CofE ministry at the age of 63 and was very well respected both in the Church and as an Architect.
