Faded.....

....Seaside Glamour. An album by The Delays but also an apt title for this blip. Obviously at one time Maryport had something to shout about and some cash to splash around. It might be only concrete but this promenade runs for a good mile and a half. It ends at a Roman feature called Bank End. It made a nice stroll on New Years Day to blow a few cobwebs away. Speaking of blowing, little did we know that the worst gales for years were about to hit this part of the Cumbrian coast before too long.
