St. Anne's Bay.

We got a new dump on snow last night...about 4-5 " and everything looks very pretty...and the sun shone for a bit, so it was very acceptable :)

After my blip the other day bemoaning this aging shit...and how i feel like my balance and strength etc is declining.....i got lots of lovely feedback from some other blippers!!! I had also found out a few months ago, that one of the local resorts, the Inverary Inn, down in Baddeck...has a lovely swimming pool, with wonderful windows giving you a great view of the water and their grounds. As a local i can use this facility, for a small membership fee. so this morning i took myself off and swam for about an hour! it was glorious! I used to swim on a regular basis many years ago, and have always preferred it to any other kind of exercise, but moving here i thought i would have to drive to Sydney or the likes...about 30-45 minutes away...and didn't feel too inticing...but Baddeck...it's 13 minutes away, and we go there at least 2-3 times a week! my new commitment to getting some strength back is at least 3 times a week down to the pool for an hour! This morning there was only 2 others there... our good friend Scott and a newish friend Charlotte! some socializing took place...and a new book club has been formed by Charlotte to which i've been invited! yeah!!! it'll start next week!
