Today is brought to you by a snotty Pimms with a hideous chest infection.

Following 2 hours and 45 minutes sleep last night I got through the day at work but with my hen do just 6 short days away I caved in and went to the vets.

The result? Rattly chest, swollen ear canals, swollen glands and a nasty chest infection.

The remedy? Amoxicillin, codeine*, vapour rub, my duvet and Pepsi Max.

*NB: they say you learn something new everyday. I never knew the active ingredient in cough medicine was codeine.
