More Fisheye Fun

Another pretty nice day, so we started into the activities.

Some maintenance on one of the chalets, removing some steps, then into the inflatable with the kids for a trip to Fitzroy. Filled the dive tanks, bought some supplies, including the usual iceblocks!

Back to the bay, and cup of tea and out fishing. What a classic day to be on the rocks with fab views to Little Barrier. But sadly, not fish. Oh well.

Back to the house for lunch then out for a dive. back to the same spot as yesterday and we easily got our limit of 60 scallops. Great bed, great visibility and a nice day to be underwater.

Then the big tidy-up and gear washing, and out to the wharf at 6 to help a couple who came over for dinner moor their boat. They are in their mid-eighties and still boating, fishing and maintaining their own property.

Great night with interesting people.
