Broken Morning

Lovely sunrise this morning, but boy was I broken - the cold is starting to win but I still made it into work (December's extended deadlines to meet!) and that's when my voice went almost entirely - most of the rest of today was spent croaking sentences a few times so people could understand me.

After work I went to see 'The Iron Lady' with my friends, which I would say is worth it for Meryl Streep's portryal of "MT", but altogether the best part was watching Jim Broadbent as her husband - the right balance of comic-scariness as he represents both her true husband and a reflection of the dementia she appears to be suffering from (again it's nicely done, the accuracy is something that has been muttered about I gather).

Some of my friends went to see 'The Artist' after the first film but I was feeling ill enough that I've come home to back-Blip and start working on all the photos I took over Christmas and the New Year - at least a weekend stuck at home will help!
