Early morning training

This group of surf life savers from North Cottesloe took to the water at around 0600hrs.

I was lucky to be there to capture them heading out for their Saturday morning training row with their instructor.

Im not sure how you get the job as an instructor, but I am sure that if the position became vacant there would be many applicants....

It was a grey day, one which we sometimes describe as shark weather. It didnt stop us all going for a swim, but maybe a bit closer to shore today
