Wharfedale Digital TV Transmitter

This is the relay TV transmitter serving Otley and Wharfedale.

Prior to digital switchover we were badly served, being only able to receive 4 TV Channels. Can you imagine that!

We hoped that all would change with the switch over from analogue to digital, but though we do get more channels, quite a few Freeview channels are still missing.

Apparently as we are served by a relay transmitter, rather than the main transmitters, there was no compunction to provide more than the basic channels.

So, Wharfedale let down again.

Luckily, there's always satellite.
